Vintage "Amos 'n' Andy" Lithographed Tin Wind-Up Toy -1930s

This was manufactured by Louis Marx & Company in the early 1930s. The toy measures about 8" long x 4" wide x 5 1/2" high and is in good condition: the wind-up mechanism seems to work as it should. This toy features lithographed tin construction with graphics depicting the beloved characters Amos and Andy in their iconic jalopy. The toy reflects the golden age of American tin toys and the cultural phenomenon of the Amos 'n' Andy radio program, which was one of the most popular entertainment shows of its era.

This is a vintage toy Kaleidoscope by Steven, No. 125 from 1974. It is made from blue cardboard with metal ends. The metal shows wear. Hold up to the light and twist to see geometrical designs.  Measures about 7.25” tall. Fun toy!
