The clear glass piece from the Victorian era measures 4 3/4" tall and features neoclassical medallions depicting a Roman goddess and a warrior, surrounded by raised dots or beading. It stands on a pedestal base and was manufactured by the Adams & Company glass manufacturer. The spooner features a wide, flared bowl with repeating raised dot decoration and oval cameo panels depicting the Roman goddess Minerva. Spooners were designed for table use, holding teaspoons upright for serving sugar, jams, or condiments. This example displays beautifully and remains fully functional today. Excellent condition - no chips or cracks.
