Roseville Pottery, Roseville, OH 1890-1954 This lovely vase or urn is from Roseville's Carnelian I line. It has integrated handles and a two-tone drip glaze in contrasting shades of blue. The deep matte blue glaze is thick as it drips over the lighter matte blue. This piece, with its attractive shape and two handles, will enhance any collection. This is a charming figural moose creamer in a reclining pose with antler-rimmed opening and warm brown-to-ivory glaze. Produced in the Turn-Teplitz pottery district of Bohemia by Ditmar-Urbach or a closely related maker, this piece combines rustic whimsy with early-20th-century Art Nouveau animal modeling. Stamped: Made in Czecho-Slovakia and impressed 27 and measures approx. 5½″ L × 3¼″ H. It is in good vintage condition with light age wear. No cracks or repairs. Displays beautifully with a rich glaze and excellent character.
