DeLill tapestry purses are often described as having a Victorian-inspired floral design. The purse features fine needlework, often referred to as petit point or micro-stitching. It has a structured metal frame with a kiss-lock closure and a delicate gold-tone chain strap. Many DeLill tapestry bags from this era (typically the 1950s and 1960s) were made in West Germany, Hong Kong, or Japan. This bowl is in the in the "Leaf and Beads" pattern and has a ruffled or scalloped edge and stands on three twigged feet. It features an iridescent, marigold-like shimmer over a green base glass with a stippled ray pattern. The bowl is 7” across and 3 3/4” tall. Excellent condition!
