Russian White Metal Glass Holder with Sputnik Design

This is a Russian metal holder for a tea glass. It has flowered scrolls on the sides and on the front is a round space design of Sputnik. The bottom is marked 110MMET m2p59n. This was black, but it cleaned up nicely. The base looks like silver. The handle has small beads down the middle.
