Vintage PV Floral Plate with Spongeware Trim – France

The letters P.V. stands for 'Peasant Village'. Peasant Village pottery was made in several countries, including France, Italy, and even in the U.S. The company (Mittledofer) used the PV logo beginning in 1928 and they continued to use it through the 1960's. This plate measures approximately 8 ¼" in diameter, blue trim and a floral arrangement in the center. In excellent condition.
