This is a Rowland and Marsellus plate. The center features a vignette of Henrick Hudson superimposed over a scene of Hudson landing in America being observed by Native Americans standing on the shore. Around the rim: Robert Fulton – The Clermont – The First Steamboat – State Capitol / Albany – Gen. Grant’s Tomb – N.J. / S.S. Hendrik Hudson / Westpoint from the North / Washington Headquarters – Newburg. The plate measures 10 inches in diameter and is in good condition.
